When designing a display of any size or shape it’s important to remember to treat it like you would a small display – one image, few words, simple type faces, no overlaps – and keep it simple, because it’s often surrounded by clutter.

Signs

Before you begin to design a sign you need to determine what its purpose will be. Are you trying to draw people in, tell them what your business is, or sell them something? Addressing the signs intent will help you determine what you put on the sign. Also, how long will consumers have to read the message; will they be close up, far away or driving in their car?

Print

In our digital world the art of print can seem almost obsolete. Things move and change with such a dizzying speed that it may appear “old fashioned” to use print. Print is after all one of the oldest methods of communication. But if you look around, every successful marketing campaign reinforces their multi-media messages with print.
